1. Preparing the schnitzel:
Gently flatten the beef schnitzel between two layers of plastic wrap. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Breading:
First, coat the schnitzel in flour, then dip it in beaten eggs, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs. Press the breading down lightly so it stays fluffy during frying.
3. Frying the schnitzel:
Heat plenty of oil or clarified butter in a large frying pan. Fry the schnitzel over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
4. Preparing the paprika sauce:
Peel the onion and cut it into thin strips. Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds, and cut them into strips as well.
In the same pan, sauté the onion in the remaining oil until translucent. Add the bell peppers and fry for a few minutes until they soften slightly. Stir in the tomato paste and fry briefly.
