Greek beef rolls with roasted garlic and feta sauce: This simple recipe adds Mediterranean flavors to your plate.

200 g feta cheese

4 cloves of garlic

150 g Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons olive oil

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh vegetables of your choice, e.g., tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion.

The original recipe calls for a base of, among other things, 450 g lean ground beef, 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, three cloves of garlic, and a teaspoon of dried oregano.

Step 1: Slowly roast the garlic

Garlic is the aromatic highlight of this recipe.

Wrap the peeled garlic cloves in aluminum foil with a little olive oil and roast in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for 20–25 minutes. They should be soft and lightly golden brown.

It is important not to let the garlic get too dark.

Over-roasted garlic can taste bitter.

Step 2: Season the ground beef

While the garlic is in the oven, you can prepare the meat.

Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Then add the ground beef and cook over medium heat for about 5 to 7 minutes, until fully cooked and lightly browned.

Break up the ground meat with a wooden spoon while cooking to prevent large clumps from forming.
